The WOW has Opened its Doors

The Grand Opening of the World of Wonders Science Museum was held on March 7-8.  The opening was a huge success with over 500 visitors in attendance each day.

Grand Opening events included Wild Things wildlife show, Clifford the Big Red Dog, unique insects from Bohart Entomology Museum, wild finger foods from Scooters California Grill and Mad Scientist science experiments. The Lodi Library, Micke Grove Zoo and Oak Grove Nature Center also helped to make the whole weekend a wonderful success.

A special thank you to Amtrak for their donation of free companion tickets and the grand prize of 4 round trip tickets on Amtrak between Lodi and Los Angeles.  The WOW museum would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you, including the WOW volunteers, who made the Grand Opening a perfect Lift-Off.
