World of Wonders Science Museum

WOW Update - June 22, 2009

The World of Wonders Science Museum has opened the doors full time!  We are now open Wednesday through Sunday, 10am-5pm. 

Many thanks to our donors who have made this possible:

General Mills Foundation on behalf of the Lodi Community Action Council graciously donated $20,000 in April for operating support of the WOW Museum.  Thank you, Rich Mullenbach!

JBT Corporation donated $2,500 through their employee matching grant program thanks to Glenna Matthews, one of our dedicated members and donors.  A special thank you to Glenna and her husband Jim Hoagland!

We are also excited to announce that this month Scientific Specialties, here in Lodi, donated $25,000.  Through this donation, the Hovatter family is purchasing a 30" plasma ball for the museum.  Watch for the photo in our next newsletter when the plasma ball arrives.  Thank you, K.R. and Roberta Hovatter!

We would also like to thank Joe and Clydene Hohenrieder and Lustre-Cal Nameplate for their continued donations of signage plus the megnatile area and our new blue chairs for the WOW Museum.  Thanks!!

Our very own WOW Board member, Kathy Wooton and her husband Jeff generously donated a very colorful wishing well where kids of all ages can watch their coins race into the deep hole of the well.  And of course, all proceeds are benefitting the World of Wonders Science Museum.  Thank you Kathy and Jeff!

Tickets $40 at the door (Must be 21 or older), $35 advance tickets sold at the World of Wonders Science Museum.
