WOW Update - January 15, 2010The World of Wonders Science Museum is entering into its 2nd year of being open to the public this coming March. What an exciting year we have had after working for 5 years to bring this facinating hands-on science museum to the Central Valley. It has been a labor of love thanks to the people of this community who donated to the WOW with just a dream in their hands and their hearts. The Vision has become a Reality! The World of Wonders Science Museum would not exist without your donations and support. Thank you! Since opening, over 3,000 school children have attended field study trips at the museum and almost 1,400 have attended the science-themed birthday parties. In addition, more than 10,000 guests have visited during our public hours of operation. The staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers are always hard at work creating new exhibits and programs in order to improve and expand the current contributions to our community. We closed 2009 with a wonderful donation of $4,000 from Herum Crabtree Attorneys out of Stockton. Herum Crabtree every year generously donates to one of their favorite charities and this year, Jennifer L. Spaletta personally chose the WOW. Thank you, Jennifer!
