WOW Update - March 3, 2010
The World of Wonders Science Museum is turning
ONE!
The WOW will be celebrating its first anniversary with a Birthday
Bash on Saturday, March 6th, 2010. So far, the World of
Wonders Science Museum has successfully served more then 11,000
visitors and over 3,500 students during school field study trips.
We extend our invitation to the entire Central Valley for our
birthday jubilee.
Come celebrate your museum!
What is a birthday party without a cake? Local bakeries
will be participating in a “cake-off”! This is a cake
competition to see which cake has the best science theme, and which
cake is the tastiest. You be the judge.
 Raffles
with free give-a-ways will take place every hour. Enjoy face
painting and party games. We will also announce the winner for
the grand prize of a free field study trip to the World of Wonders
Science Museum for one local class. Teachers, if you haven’t
heard from Jamie, please e-mail her at
Jamie@wowsciencemuseum.org or call 209-368-0969 in order to put your class in the
hat!
So join us March 6th, 2010 from 10:00am to 5:00pm to celebrate
the WOW’s first birthday. Be sure not to leave without signing
our graffiti wall which will go into the WOW time capsule.
Visit the WoW Science Store and receive a 20% discount for WOW
members and a 10% discount for all other guests. If you are
not a member yet, this is the perfect time to join and get your
additional discount while supporting the World of Wonders Science
Museum.

on March 7, 2009! Your contribution to your community has given
thousands of people the opportunity to discover the wonderful world
of science.
Your WOW membership card also allows you to receive yearly free
admission, discounts on camps, birthday parties and a 10% discount
at The WoW Science Store. A Family Membership, or greater,
also entitles you to free or discounted admission to Association of
Science-Technology Centers reciprocal science centers across the
country and worldwide (all are listed at

April 19th, Science on the Green Golf Tournament
 The
World of Wonders Science Museum is asking for your support in the
3rd annual, Science on the Green Golf Tournament. All proceeds
raised will go to the World of Wonders Science Museum. Lend your
